Right front tire wearing faster than left front

Hello everyone. I have a 2016 228i Coupe that I've owned since new. I've never done anything with the tires and the car has never had an alignment on it. It has 21,000 miles on it. My right front tire is at 4/32nds and the left front is at 6/32nds. The wear on the right front is even all across the tread. Any idea why this might be happening?

if you have a square set up and never rotated your tires maybe left turns and crown in the road.

Doesn't really seem that far out of the ordinary. Just get an alignment when you get new tires and rotate more often if you have a square setup.

This is pretty common on staggered setups but usually with the front left wearing faster since most turns are right handed turns. Yours is opposite tire but not drastic I don't think. Probably could use an alignment though.

Part of BMW yearly service is rotating tires. Also you need to check tyre pressures every couple of months at least.

Don't think there is any rotation option with staggered tires - they are also directional IIRC.

And it tempts me to make a joke about how it is just more proof of the left bias in California But seriously, check the alignment. Might want to do that at a high end tire shop that has state of the art gear, as some dealers are really just about setting up new deliveries to 'good 'nuff' specs).

On the user manual it says to check them at least twice a month or before any long journey. You need to check them when they are cool, user manual also states that after a journey for a maximum of 2 km or if the vehicle has been parked for at least 2 hours.

You must have a square'd setup.
