It's not an option in the US (I tried but BMWNA denied). So I took matters with my own hands. I imported it from Europe. Direct bolt on, but i did had to swap out all the modules, wiring, sensors, airbag, seatbelt tensioner, and occupancy mat sensor to make it work with US spec car.

I don't suppose you have links to parts and a how-to guide posted on this forum somewhere, do you?

The car looks great!

I was lucky enough to find it on eBay and a seller willing to ship it to the US. More info on my build > http://www.2addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1269847

EDIT: I originally stated look up item number 172348583048 on eBay, but i am just now seeing that is for the 218, which i don't think will fit in our 228-240

G'day guys! First post, new owner!

My completely standard-boring 2017 M240i in Australia.

Estoril Blue, Dakota Black Leather w/blue contrast stitching and Fineline Stream Wood trim interior.

All factory options, was tempted with the alcantara because they're available as an option here too, but was worried about durability as I've had suede in the past.

I was skeptical of the interior but once it arrived I was in love with the combo, it strikes the right balance with just a subtle flash of blue. The stitch doesn't completely cover the interior like the M2, and it's a deeper shade of blue so it's more subtle.

Don't plan on modding anything to it.

I snap pictures for a living so this is my new daily drive

Here's mine, installed with all exterior M performance parts and did carbon roof wrap (3m di-noc) with sharkfin and siderails in gloss black, it is done now... I'm very happy with it.

Ended up going with Satin Black 3M instead of CF. CF didn't match the parts that I had. But my god I am so happy with the results!!

Completely not standard and definitely not a boring car Easton, nice. . The contrast stitching looks great. Although I noticed one thing. Shouldn't there be contrast stitching on the arm rest? (door picture). Or is it there and maybe I am just not seeing it or is a lighting thing?

No contrast stitching on the door rest its very limited in the interior, probably on purpose as to not overlap with the m2 which has it everywhere.
