they are cheap enough to have powder coated or dipped what ever color you want.

However, am I going crazy or are the Raijin's no longer available for the 2016 models in gunmetal? At least when looking at Tire Rack, I can only find 18'' Raijin's in black or hyper silver. The gunmetal option doesn't seem to be compatible with the 2016 model. Initially I was looking to get them in black, but that would give it a similar look to the original dark grey OEM wheels. I may be slightly more inclined to give it a different look with gunmetal. So...to summarize:

1. Am I going crazy or are the Raijins in gunmetal not available for 2016 models

2. Anyone got additional pictures of M235i's with hyper silver or black Raijins? Massive bonus points if they're on an alpine white body

Cheers,
I had the same question and I found out they aren't discontinued, but only special ordered. I just received mine yesterday (still waiting on Costco to have their michelin sale before I get new shoes on) and it took 3 weeks to order them.

you can google the same wheel part number and use GM instead of HS at the end to find dealers that will special order them.

I think on a white car hyper silver looks better though.
Here's the wheels on an e90 3 series

It seems to be too dark against white (at least on the 1 series)

Again, just my opinion

Not going to lie, I'm gradually leaning more towards the hyper silver over the black paint. The silver definitely gives it that classier, different look from the stock OEM grey wheels. I do feel like the black Raijin's give it a more sporty look, so I'm still slightly torn. I'm worried that the black will hide most of the wheel details. Then again, they are way easier to clean/"maintain" during the winter months compared to the silver.

If anyone has additional pictures of hyper silver/black Raijin's do please share! The more the merrier

I almost bought Raijin in gunmetal when they were on clearance at tirerack last year.
I ended up buying black Raijin ones because I wanted to leave option of buying a replacement in the future if needed as the gunmetal sizes that fit F22 were discontinued.
Here is a picture of my winter setup with DWS 06 tires.

Tires look great with the blue !

Slightly leaning towards the black raijin's again, which essentially makes it a crap shoot for me regarding the silver v black decision. Thinking of adding M performance parts in the near future, which would probably go better with the black raijin's.

NOBODY has black raijin's on an alpine white body?! Nobody??

The Gunmetal is my favorite color on this wheel, they have some available in 18x8 +32(maybe some +42 also) and a few in 18x8.5 +38 last time i checked.

For all of you fellas running the Enkei raijin winter setup, did you end up going with spacers? I installed mine a couple days ago, and am undecided on whether to add spacers or not.

I ended up going with black. Will post pictures later this week, but pretty happy with the results

No spacers necessary. Just put mine back on today. Second season on my m235 after having used them on my 135. Still like these wheels. Mine are hyper silver.

Not the best picture and I forgot to take some close ups but overall it's a great wheel.

Does anyone know the paint code for the black raijin wheels? Trying to find some touch-up paint. Curb rash

I just used black glossy enamel spray can and some q tips to apply on smaller area.
It was almost perfect match.
The brand I used was Rust-oleum.

Awesome thanks!

Going to attempt a repair soon. Also got some matte and gloss black paint markers to try.
