What I did today was put the top down! 50 degrees is good enough. (In fact 40 and sunny yesterday was also good enough!)

Wind screen + heat 50, is def convertible weather. Amazing how much it helps keep the cabin calm with the windows up.

3M tape. It's holding up well I think. I already washed the car once since I've installed them and everything is still intact.

I have been a voice here (from experience) to doubt the reliability of tape and always recommend betalink or other urethane product. The question I always ask is how would you feel being the driver at highway speeds directly behind that taped-on spoiler, with it at about your windshield level? Yours may now be done, but for others considering, something to think about.

Thanks. I had the same thoughts but I can always redo it maybe when weather is warmer.

Today I once again drove too fast and got a speeding ticket. I’ve had the car less than a year and both me and my wife have gotten speeding tickets. I got pulled over one time and they let me off with a warning. I thought when I got a 2 series it came with a get out of speeding ticket pass. You’d think law enforcement would be more understanding of What it’s like to own one of these cars.

What color is your car? I find that some are more ticket prone than others. My 2015 Mineral Grey M235i seems to be invisible to radar. Perhaps it's the V1 and not the color but I gave up red cars years ago as I got tired of "fast driving awards".

At least your wife got one too so she can't ride you too hard over it

. I set my speed alert to ping me at 75mph before I took it off the lot at delivery, and that continues to help keep me out of felony territory (and the V1 I got last summer doesn't hurt). Not that I don't 'occasionally' get a ping off of it, but you can get going way too fast without even realizing it if you don't have a reminder. These cars at 90 are smoother and steadier than my last car was at 65.

So I picked mine up from the dealer with the M Performance exhaust installed.
I wanted the black wheels and the dealer screwed up on my order.
They agreed to have the powder coated for free, so I had them blacked out.
I hated the gray mirror covers so I added the carbon fiber covers.

Saturday I'll be installing M pedals, carbon fiber spoiler, and black kidney grilles.
If my bavsound speakers come in quick enough I will be installing those as well. Ordered full replacement speakers and subs.

The Amp makes a big difference as well if you were on the fence about that. If you want a smaller $ investment the cheapest FiiO with in vehicle mode is a great upgrade as well, really maximize the performance of the Bavsound speakers.

Completely agree about the Bimmertech amp with the Bavsound speakers. I hope you are enjoying your new remote.

Can the Fiio connect other than through an AUX input? If not, then tennisfreak is presumably out of luck. If there is another way to connect it, then I am very interested.

When I saw your picture of your installed amp remote I felt particularly envious of your AUX input.
