You'll need to cap it with something as VRSF doesnt provide the fitting for manual cars

Does a rubber cap hold under pressure w/ a hose clamp?

It fits on there nice and tight, don't even think there is a need for a hose clamp and it is very thick

The cap will never get by the inspectors in California. Will have to cut it off, weld it shut and disguise it very carefully or just return it and explore other options.

Yea I guess here in WI it's more relaxed and this will work. I wish they would've just made a separate manual version. I've been buying VRSF parts for a while now and I gotta say this was very disappointing, they could've at least included the cap?

Thanks again to crbalch answering my question while my car was sitting on jack stands w/ the stock pipe off, never ended up hearing from VRSF.

I'd recommend using a clamp on the cap. This was an oversight that will be corrected on all future models. PM over your order number and a receipt and I'll be more than happy to reimburse you for the cap

That cap is insanely tight, I'm had a very difficult time taking it off once I got it on, but I guess I'll throw one on for safe measure

I've been trying to return my VRSF charge pipe and order the ER piece because of the auto trans fitting. I bought the VRSF set from "Top Gear Solutions" but get NO response from their website email. Is this a legitimate company ?
Next step will be a PM through this forum and see if I can get a reply.
Anyone else have this problem or am I just not doing it right.

Wasn't doing it right , oops

I am also struggling to get the charge pipe to fit on the upper throttlebody. It seems like there's no way it can go up far enough to allow the C clamp to sit in the groove. Everything else is good but I just can not get it to align with the groove.

Mine was pretty tight, had to use some extra muscle to get it on.. Have you tired using some oil around the flange area/o-ring? Wouldn't hurt.. GL

p.s. Good new is, it won't ever come off on ya once you get it on!

I was only able To get it on without the o ring for now.
I will try tackling it again this week - it just seems the o ring (new one from BMW) could be the reason.

Have you tried a little oil for lubrication?
