MPE Catless Dp and JB4, What Map Should I Run?

Hey guys, probably there is tons of threads already for this question but i just wanted to start a new one since im new with jb4 (installed it 2 days ago) feels great in map 1, huge difference vs stock. But i wanted to know if there's a more suitable map to the mods i currently have (catless dp, mpe and also a forge chargepipe). I will get an aFe intake and a forge intercooler later on and could get access to 98 octanes. Normally running on 90 octanes.

If you have access to 98 octane run map 2
I thought you only need 93 for map 2?

I did some runs in map 1 and map 2 yesterday (all of them in 90 octane) and imo map 1 does feel smoother and more consistent, map 2 sometimes feels a bit more laggy but other runs it did feel faster than map 1. So I left it in map 2 so that it could have a learning period in that setting.

Today i'll be getting 98 octane, im hoping to see a bigger difference, will be posting results and comments about it !

98 RON is recommended for Map 2. I would suggest doing some logs and posting them on n54tech for the JB guys to review

Correct but OP did not list 93 as available he said 91 and 98
91 for map 1
98 for map 2 .. If he has access to 93 he can use it with map 2 as well

We are talking octane ... If OP meant RON he needs at least 98 for map 2

Hey mike!

With 98 octane was a whole new story, lots of boost !! The car kept pulling and pulling through all of the rev range, it's amazing how much the car changed. I have two questions for you now.
1. You know i have dp, mpe and cp, when i fill the tank again with regular daily 90 octane should i leave it in map 2 or chance it again to map 1?
2. My dealer is going to bring 104 octane, if i were to buy a mix of that, with what map should i run it?

I would do map 1 with 90 octane

With the upgraded fuel do map 2 or map 5
