Top Speed

Top speed is limited electronically to 130mph for M235i, does anyone know if it can be removed?

130 if you got runflats, 155 with summer performance tires. You can get rid of it with an ecu tune...

after the first 10 operating hours of the car, the limit gets locked, and you can only modifying if you flash the ECU which overwrites anything that was there.

before the 10 hours you should be able to change the limit without changing anything else

FYI for those wondering, Dinan represented to me that their tunes don't mess with the speed governor at all.

Dinan does nothing with the DME altering on the F series cars so what they told you is correct.
The closest they come to working with the DME IS utilizing a piggy back that directly plugs into the DME, and their module depending on stage has one absolute value/target. No map swapping. They have BT built in as well.

Their DINAN sport you can go from 0-4 psi.
