2015 M235i issues

I just bought a used M235i with x-drive and there are a couple of issues which I want to seek your help:
  1. white color exclamation point inside a triangle appearing next to the MPG lower right area of dashboard. It goes away in 2-3 mins after I start the engine. Should I be worried about this?
  2. Wind noise is extra loud on passenger side when speed of vehicle goes beyond 65MPH

For the exclamation point u should probably be able to go into iDrive and VEHICLE INFO then to VEHICLE STATUS then to CHECK CONTROL

wind noise means something out of alignment - make sure window retracts and goes back up when door opened and closed even check under car to make sure no cladding is sticking incorrectly into airflow or any fender liners misaligned

READ THE MANUAL, either to book or the version available electronically in the vehicle, to find out WHAT THE SYMBOL MEANS. I always read through the manual when first driving a new car, because not all these symbols are intuitive, especially now that there are so many of them.
Did you buy the car privately or through a dealer? In either case, you may have certain legal rights if there is a real problem, but you need to exercise these rights quickly. A remote possibility is that the door is out of whack due to a collision.
Have you run the VIN history?

Just checked it and I did not see anything flagged in CHECK CTRL.
So, it may be a false alarm, then?

The wind noise seem to be coming from the top, possibly moonroof.
I inspected the rubber seal and it looked fine to me.

Yes, I bought this car from a BMW dealer as a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) car. CarFax history showed nothing bad.

The car is the perfect combo I was looking for:
  • smaller car that's nimble
  • powerful & responsive & reliable engine
  • good tight but balanced suspension
  • failr OK fuel economy for daily commute

If its a CPO car, should be covered.

R U still in the warranty portion of the coverage or the extended CPO coverage ?

I had the white exclamation mark come up when I took mine out of storage and my date was not set up. White exclamation is basically just a minor heads up about something, nothing serious. The wind noise, I'm not sure, definitely sounds like a seal so I would take it in for both and have them advise.

The shop adjusted the moonroof. Volume of wind noise dropped by 1/2 at speeds above 60MPH but now, the wind noise can be heard at 45 MPH.

I'm going to take it again. Never had this issue before with my previous Bimmers.
I hope all these adjustments to the moonroof will not cause it to leak later when the rainy seasons start back up.
