I was thinking the same thing. They told me they'd change the grilles and debadge for free but we have gone from 2 jobs to 6 that I want done pre-delivery. Figure I'll just use the coupon as a bargaining chip if they try to charge me any labor, so if they refuse the coupon and try to charge me labor we can "compromise" on the free labor.

I have no plans to spend it elsewhere. Winter stuff for me was going to happen regardless. So, I plan on not having to give this 1k to BMW and keeping it in my pocket.

It clearly states on the coupon that it is not valid for pending sales.

Ha! You're not kidding. I guess I can stop scouring my dealer's site now and accept that they don't have a similar deal.

I have no paperwork, no deposit, no nothing and my car just arrived in Newark. Like I said, I don't think I am going to get the full $750 but just want to bring it as a bargaining chip.

Yes they do because I will be picking up in July and my CA gave me the $1K allowance off of the MSRP on my M235i.

I really hope you are right. I'll let you know if that is the case when I pick up mine in June.

Just got confirmation from my SA that I'm going to get the $1k allowance since I'm taking delivery next week. There was no explicit agreement when I placed the order that they would have to honor any subsequent incentives, so that shouldn't be a limiting factor for people. This deal is getting better all the time!

I'm a little surprised you folks still think your dealer has the option of giving you this credit. If it falls within the parameters set by BMWNA, you are entitled to it. There does not need to be an agreement to honor incentives. They have to.

Yup, I'm on my way to pick mine up in an hour and you better believe they're going to give me that credit.

I am not sure why you guys are so happy. I would go for a credit union financing and save thousands over the course of the loan compared to the BMWFS 3.19%. Local credit union here is 1.59%.

Some people refinance to take advantage of BMWFS incentives initially and then jump to a credit union for savings on interest. But I am not positive you even need to finance to get the credit. It's just fortunate since most of these people were going to buy anyway and the credit is in hopes of attracting new buyers.

The credit is from BMWFS, so yes you need to finance to get the credit. I understand that you need to finance it for at least 6 months.
