.... I know what it is. The middle is fine. Its the ends/the way it terminates which is a bit hidden in these pics which looks plain.

Excited to say that I've taken all this great info everyone has provided in and ordered mine today for delivery I guess in March. I'll be coming off a 335is w/DCT and ordered the M235 with the manual. Apparently they'll release more pricing on Friday. I don't race so I ordered all the bells and whistles but I'm sure you can cut weight without the packages. Here's how I decided to set it up. (I asked about a moonroof delete but they didn't sound confident)

M235i Coupe
-A96 (Mineral White Metallic)
-LCSW (Black Dakota Leather)
-ZDA (Driver Assistance Package)
-ZPP (Premium Package)
-ZTP (Technology Package)
-ZMT (Manual Transmission)
-674 (Harmon/Kardon)
-302 (Anti-theft)
-4MR (Alum Hex) w/ 4DL (High Gloss Blk trim)

Wheels/Tires:
Code: 2PG, Style: 436M
F: 18x7.5, 225/40 R18
R: 18x7.5, 245/35 R18

I know no human can shift as fast as the DCT, and it's an amazing double clutch. Especially the exhaust note on the downshifts in my 335is (Can only hope the exhaust on M235 will sound so good) Honestly, it's simply for me, the visceral connection to the car. Even when I switch over I tend to use the shifter vs the paddles so I can pretend I have a stick. My e39 M5 was a manual and I loved the feeling of controlling the clutch and stick so I'm excited to feel that connection again. The DCT isn't offered in the M235i but my guess it finds its way into the M2.
