Trunk release

Is there a way to open the trunk by use of a hand or foot movement, much like Ford. Wife wanted to know In case her hands were full and she wanted to open the trunk. Her assumption was she would drive my new car to the grocery store which isn't going to happen.

Does Comfort access still permit u to open the trunk lid by hand w/o requiring use of the key fob? Somewhere in bimmerpost I read that that feature is no longer available, which kinda sucks/defeats the purpose of having CA in the first place. Can anyone confirm?
