Beautiful car

Especially the nose vs the recent noses/nostrils (starting with recent 3 series)

This 2 series is just lovely

What is "universal remote control" listed under executive package?

Sounds great! Hopefully the US prices are similar when it comes to the packages and options. Would also be nice if xenon are standard across the board, but I suspect it will be bundled with the lighting package for the 228i.

Bam!

As much as the 228 is tempting the M235 just cannot be ignored-

Unfortunately we don't get a discount for doing ED in Canada.

It's still a fantastic experience, a double win for Americans. Literally everyone (in Canada) who heard about the trip my wife and I took asks how much _more_ it cost and are surprised it is no more than MSRP.

I agree. This is ridiculous LOL. It's almost 2014 and xenons are still an option?

I guess you can't please everyone. i'm sure everyone is happy that heated steering wheel and adaptive suspension are standard now but I'm disappointed that it's not an option. I was interested in the M235 but not with Gucci glove heating steering wheel and adaptive suspension. Even though most people want it, it would be great if they gave you the choice. Maybe the M2 will be closer to proper ///M car but I heard they are making the fake engine sound standard too.

On the cost difference between US and Canadian, I doubt they will give us a lower price because of exchange rate. My guess is that our price will be the same in US dollars. $895 destination, etc.

My point is that there have traditionally been other wheel options listed in the normal ordering guide for most BMWs - it's like this 19in option is some big secret or something. Just show us the damn thing - so we know for sure if it is the same as what's available for the M135 - and be done with it.

Rant over.
Exactly, what are they being so secretive about everything to do with this car. The debut is around the corner and we haven't even gotten official ordering info..

Ditto that. Might do it again in fact but it would be so much sweeter if we could get the same perks our US friends do.

Page 6 of the attachment says xenons STD for both models. Not sure where you are getting the idea they are an option?

Wasn't speaking about the 2-Series specifically. Although I am surprised that while the 2-Series comes with xenons as standard, the 3-Series does not and it's marketed as a more premium model.

The 3 series coupe (E92) did come standard with Xenons - regardless of whether it was a 328 or 335.

I would know because I had 2 E92s and both were 328s.

Perhaps that's the distinction - the 2er is all coupes, so they will get the Xenons as standard.

Regardless, I'm pissed we can't get LED headlights, but that's another discussion.

The coupes got them as standard but there are a lot of 328's (both F30 and E90's) with halogens and it's a shame really, especially on the F30's...

Regardless of coupe vs. sedan, there really is no reason why xenons shouldn't be standard today.

Oh I agree - these cars are too expensive to not have Xenons as standard.

Bummer!
I think that might be a misprint for the M235i in this ordering guide. On the EC M135i they did not come with RFT's just like full M cars like the M3/M5/M6's - no run flats.

Yeah, here in SA it's an option between either RFTs or non-RFTs..

Plus we got our order sheet first!

We will pay more for shipping, and we don't get the "free" auto - and there may be other standard equipment differences (maybe someone will do a comparison).

I take it you never tried the Porsche site to configure a car, yikes!
