It is. That's why people not only talk about the nice stuff in their cars, but the issues as well. But apparently some people didn't like the fact that gfk007 came to forum to show frustration. Two new cars breaking down, no loaners, and strangers "test driving" the car (I would've wanted prior notice). I'm still interested in outcome of 235's breakdown, as a future owner (2 more weeks to be exact).

Hoping to hear more too - wasn't the OP supposed to get his car back yesterday?

Got the car back: they are claiming the clutch issue was in relation to a glitch in the software (only time will tell if that's the case).
Otherwise, the fuel pump was broken and needed to be replaced. I got the lower lip on my front bumper resprayed last night and had the performance grilles installed as well. Black grilles and black mirrors is a good look.

So HPFP or LPFP? I wouldn't worry about this as an issue for other owners because it's just not showing up on other N55 engines as an issue. I'm not even sure if I'd believe a dealer without a replacement part number which I'm sure was on the work order but I'm starting to believe most work is trial and error at the dealers since they can never replicate a problem ie transmission problems.

Reading that it sounds like the regular fuel pump, not the HPFP that was the N54 issue. It also sounds like it was some type of electrical issue. I'm personally not concerned. Kudo's on that write-up the mechanic did though.

I think if you have HPFP problems your car runs but under 30 mph, if the LPFP fails your engine won't run. Either way it sucks.
