Do the "old" recaros fit in the new car?

Hi

Does anyone know if the Recaros that BMW sells for the previous 1 series are easy to fit in the 2 series? Would love to get them in my car, but BMW doesn't offer them anymore as an accessory on the current car, so I was wondering if the connectors/sliders are still the same?

I would think so. They are the same seat that is on the car in the "Recaro Teasing" thread in the photo section. Maybe he knows what hardware is needed?

I am just wondering about the sliders/connectors for the airbags. I wouldn't be amazed that BMW fiddled with those from a commercial point of view.

I think so. Some people has fitted those Recaros in the M135i.

but the bmw performance seats should not work, since bmw made them custom fit for the e-series models. the electronic is completely different.

the recaro sportster will work like I prove!
