I also did some extensive research on locking GF's 328 in Eco mode. Sadly not possible. Thought about removing the switch too after setting it!

Wife drives a 2014 Mercedes C250. Lease is about up though, so we'll see what's next. She doesn't know how to drive stick, so no M235 seat time for her.

I drive the 2016 M235i. My wife drives the 2011 X3 28i. Her car is the kidmobile, though I can stuff a kid in my car if needed. I'm so glad to have such a fun-to-drive car that still is practical enough to own with two kids.

2014 SQ5. She certainly doesn't use all the sporting capabilities of that car but I like to have something sporty for the once a week or so that I drive it and when going into the mountains or on road trips. It's a killer 'ute.
We swap cars pretty regularly since they're both auto boxes and awesome cars and we both have a big appreciation for each of our cars. |

The misses drives a 2003 G35 sedan. But she will be switching over to a 340i in Sept after a July ED.
The 340i will have a 8AT which is kind of a bummer. Her reason was she's afraid of ruining it with a money shift or something, which I admit is my fault since I didn't provide a beater car for her to practice on in the past. So that's what I'll do so I don't have to listen to that excuse next time. If she's proficient with a MT but still don't want to drive it, I'll be more satisfied with the decision. 2014 Honda Civic Estate (wagon). She likes practical cars and the Honda is clever as a load carrier.
It's a manual (stick), as most cars are in UK, but not what you'd call a drivers' car. She is happy driving the 235 too, the first of my BMWs that she's actually been comfortable with; doesn't use a great deal of throttle though :-) |

We swap cars about once a week She loves driving the M235, except for being low to the ground, which I don't quite get because she has spent her entire life being lower to the ground than 90% of the adult population I do love her |

2012 Golf. It hardly gets driven. It has under 10,000 miles on it. She like taking the bus to work since her work in down town Seattle has very limited and expensive parking.

My wife drives our Mercedes Benz GLK350 that we purchased new in 2012. She won't drive my M235i, but will occasionally ride along with me.
Fine with me.

Wife drives a 15' Hyundai Santa Fe Sport with the 2.0T. I actually like driving it a lot. Hyundai makes a great car.
When I'm away for work my wife will sometimes drive the 2. She loves it and so does everyone at her work.

My wife drives a 2016 Mazda CX-5 that she just loves. We'll occasionally need to swap cars, so she'll drive the 235, though she gets nervous that something will happen while she's in it. She always comments on how easy the manual tranny is to drive compared to my RX-8.

2015 Lexus RX350 F sport ... My 335 wasn't very reliable so I went with Lexus for her car, couldn't resist the m235i after the test drive for me though

What Does Spouse Drive?
Our two family cars are a 2015 M235i and a 2016 X3 35i.
Our family rule is: Whomever gets up first gets choice of car. She's a morning person, I'm not. Never the less, she's never driven the M235i, by choice. She is happy with the X3 ("Gretchen"), however. -Karl |
