I think the belt is still at the front

I'm not concerned about the chain. It's those plastic chain tensioners that can be prone to failing.

I will agree with this. I have thought about waiting for a new model, but I generally like mature production cycle than the new start of a car. I ordered a. Model with our specific options, and hate to go back to square one. I'll take the 4 year maintenance and the 0.9% loan I locked in. I have 1-2 weeks left.... Till my car arrives. I'm ready for it!

I think I know why you felt it was more responsive.

Do the throttle adaptation reset on your M235i, and then report back on the responsiveness. I'm curious to see whether or not that would make them feel more or less equal...

It just had a lot more pep under 2500 rpm. How do you do the reset?

Well, the good news is that the N55 is a reliable engine that's proven reliable. As they say, often to buy a car model in its last year of production, as all of the issues/kinks have been worked out.
