Good read...I enjoyed your rant lol. I definitely love the Cayman S. I use to shit on them as I was always on rennlist as I've wanted a 964 or 993 for quite some time - but pussy'd out every time I get a chance to own one. I don't want to bother with maintenance (and I know it'll be my daily driver racking up miles). I went and drove a Cayman S with PDK and a 997.2 PDK and while the 911 gave me a huge dick due to luxury feel...the Cayman felt so amazing driving at high and low speeds. Super cool car...definitely on the radar. It's not turbo M3/M4 fast but "FEELS" very quick. It's just a sporty car and the new models are an absolute beauty to the eye. They're stunning. I also like the Miata as I feel like it's a great drivers car and can be had new for $25k. I don't think I'll ever bite the bullet on a 911 as a much more exciting car can be had for less...but who knows. I'm fairly young and will probably have a kid in 3 years so I'll need a backseat. I'll probably buy a VW CC or 535 |

I just took delivery of my M2 on May 6th....
the other day I also purchased a 2005 NSX. I will probably put my mint condition 95 NSX up for sale.

Really starting to think seriously about a 2018 M240 xDrive, BSM, interior TBD, crystal black BBS SX 17x7.5 with Continental DWS 06. That should solve most if not all of my gripes with my current M235 and be a nice change.

I change my mind all the time. Gonna hang onto the M235 for at least another 1.5-2 years. But after that I'm really tempted to get into another Porsche (cayman or boxster). The new Camaro looks nice and gives huge performance for the $$$. That being said I've always been more of a Mustang guy and can't wait to see what their answer to the new Camaro is. There's also the irrational side of me that wants a Alfa Guilia Quadrifoglio. I know it will fall to pieces after 5k miles but damn it's gorgeous, a real Alfa, and it has a Ferrari derived engine!

It changes nearly daily, but as of today, this is my short list after the lease is up:
M3 (used or off lease) M4 (used or off lease) M2 M240i Vaporware S2000 (if one is out by then, if not I guess I'll settle for a unicorn) Keep M235i once off lease Boxster/Cayman Model 3 I dropped the Audis off my list. I decided that it's either rear wheel drive or no wheel drive for me. |

Im in my m235i for 3 more years since I just picked it up this past weekend. But I think once my lease is up, I can get a really good price on an M2 or a used CPO F80 m3 or F82 M4.

Not really in the market until I pay off all the cars I have now which will be in about 2 years.
List of candidates ping ponging around in my head. BMW M2 BMW M3 Cadillac CTSV (Have to get a used one as I want a manual) Chevrolet C7 GrandSport Z07 Chevrolet C7 Z06/Z07 Ford F-150 V6 Ecoboost Raptor (Almost here!) Ford F-150 V8 SVT Raptor (When the new V6 ones come out I am looking to pounce on an old V8 model at a reduced price.) Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R (White with the blue stripes) Porsche Cayman GT4 Porsche Cayman GTS Unfortunately I am pretty sure the next vehicle will be a truck... But I really want to add a Cayman GT4 to my vehicles. |

Seriously thinking of going back to E9x with S65 under the hood. Timeless and classic car imo.

Looking Today two years out.
2018 M2 with B58 engine upgrade, hoping the 2018 M2 LCI will take it there. 2018 M240 - Could be a real bargain with M2 in the picture. Merc GLE, Macan are some other vehicles of interest for a bit more cargo space. CPO M3

Well, next car is up for debate. "Next next" car is fairly sorted as I just put a deposit down on a 2020 2-series GC, either 240 or M2 my choice. Now I just need to chose a BMW of some sort to drive in the interim, do a 6-month pull ahead on my 235 and get it this fall.

I changed my mind on wanting to get a Porsche 911 next.
I think I am too young for that even after 3 years. It's a nice car and all, just not youthful enough. I see at least 5 a day driven by old men on their way to their downtown executive offices. |

That's on my short list. However, it is supposed to be a 2017 model and there has been no really new information for many months. Unfortunately, with persistent delay not only am I worried about possible QC issues, but it may just be too late for the end of my lease.
