New updated pics MG CR m235 performance and more!
NEW PICS ON pg 3 DLSR snapshots Also have some parts I am selling so let me know but I posted a link on the member classifieds.
Hey everyone want to keep it simple and sweet but I just logged onto my BMW account and it shows my girl has started her build production! History of my cars with BMW would be 2008 335I Msport (6spd), 2012 E92 M3(ZCP) (DCT) and now 2015 M235I (6spd). Build list. Mineral grey (exterior) Coral red (interior) 6speed manual () Driver assistance package Premium package Technology package Enhanced usb and phone integration Moonroof deletion Harmon Kardon premium sound upgrade Anti theft alarm M Performance LSD M Performance carbon rear spoiler M Performance Rear diffuser M Performance Exhaust and cf tips M Performance carbon mirror caps M Performance black kidney grills M Performance floor matts M Performance side skirts and vinyl M Performance pedal set M Performance carbon\alcantara steering wheel(red 12 O'clock ring) M Performance carbon\alcantara interior trim M Performance carbon\alcantara brake assembly M Performance carbon\alcantara shiftboot and shift knob Aftermarket P3 digital vent gauge H&R springs Macht Schnell spacers 15mm front and rear I will be letting go of my M3 but since she was out of warranty and I actually made money back overall and with the trade in PLUS the amazing offer and discount pricing I received from my sales manager it was just way too damn good to even think about keeping my DCT M3 out of warranty... Or at least I think ;D looking forward to posting pics of the arrival and everything. Last edited by shane060; 10-02-2015 at 10:12 AM.. Reason: UPDATED 9-22-15 |

Right now I it says I am in Production phase of the car... Does anyone know what the average wait time is right now or has been lately for our cars? I read it was average wait of about 8-12 weeks but my sales rep just said "it won't be long!" Whatever that means haha?!
I know from the past that a lot can depend on the shipping boat, at times they even sit for a few days in port etc. Just wondering what any recent owners\members have experienced personally. |

Congrats! Spectacular build.
It takes an average of eight weeks from start of actual build to USA delivery. PCD can add an additional two weeks depending on their delivery schedule. If you are taking PCD, BMW will provide you tentative dates to make the selection from. Good luck and enjoy the wait.

Still awaiting for my car to get on the boat. My sa is telling me as of now its looking like end of April earliest\ Early May.... Im loosing sleep over this and am catching myself looking at my E92 M3 saying sorry old girl but I can't wait to swap the old keys for new! Looking forward to posting pictures... I have just ordered H&R Sport springs ,15mm front and rear Macht Schnell spacers and matching painted front and rear reflectors! Plan on doing wheels tires, P3 gauge, AFE Intake and Scorcher tune later down the road after I get some drive time in for the first few months and break in.

I ordered from BMW SA, taken about 6 weeks from order date. Ordered 2/27 and it's a week away from being at the dealership (in Brunswick).
So i'd say 6-8 weeks to be safe. |

Just got word that she has arrived at Port of Brunswick in Georgia! My sales guy told me no exact delivery date yet here to SanAntonio but he mentioned it shouldn't take more than a few days for them to install the M-LSD and then ship her on down to my dealership where everything else is being put on! Looking like two weeks or so everyone I can't wait!!! I keep looking at my M3 and saying I won't miss you and trying to convince myself but Im still feeling some uneasiness....

That is a tough call I wouldn't want to make but on the bright side, you're getting the latest, updated version of one of BMW's very best. Good luck!

Just snapped some pics today of her as I took delivery yesterday! The car is so amazing and I feel very connected with it although I will miss of course some aspects of the E92 M3, but overall I am so impressed with this build and order. Cant wait for Lowering springs, spacers and intake and tune!
Sorry for quality pics or lack of, just snapped them off my 6+ as I've been to busy enjoying this damn car! Last edited by shane060; 05-03-2015 at 08:30 PM.. |
