by the way; I'm not protesting by any means, however, considering I was first to post those pics, there was no need to completely delete my post; Jason dear, you could have left at least one photo. ))

I think it really will look more like this:
If we add a few inches on to the wheelbase and roof panel and then add rear doors we get the perfect impression of the forthcoming Gran Coupe.
The slight stretch allows the more rounded roofline to be retained giving it a dynamic coupe-like roofline and stretched glasshouse.

The M Performance accessories mimic those introduced on the 4er .
The full programme will be announced for the Geneva Autoshow in Early March 2014..

The belief in the Gran Coupe is ever more apparent due to the lukewarm response the media have given the CLA and A3 Sedan. BMW believes the segment calls for sheer driving pleasure .
Does that mean the LSD won't be available until March?

Yes you're right. I personally hated the 1er from the start and now I find them quite attractive.

Imagine how much better the 2er will look in a few years if we are already liking it now?

It looks too much like an E46. Not a bad thing. Just not as cool as 1er.

I loved the 1 from the beginning except for the damn headlights. To this day that was basically the only thing that would keep me out of the one. In fact they could have left the car exactly how it is now, tweak the headlights a little and I would be in!

What's with the atrocious hood line again, which destroys an otherwise
great looking vehicle? This madness seems to be permeating more and more
models nowadays! The designers @ BMW need some a$$ whooping over this
insanity.

God save us from the thinkers at BMW! and the resulting price lists and marketing positioning!

The headlights were sort of meh. but then the LCI introduced that 'eyebrow' that really elevated its appearance somehow.

What drove me away from purchasing the coupe last year was the interior, as much as it is good. I wanted a great interior and the F30's modern approach really sold me. At least now I won't have a problem

I always think it's best to reserve judgment until all the camo comes off...my guess is that I'll end up liking the M235i just fine, and the M2 will hopefully be glorious.

As background, I really like the looks of the 135i (not surprising, I've owned two!), but as someone who doesn't particularly like the 128i looks, I'd assume I wouldn't be in love with the 228i/220i either.

As you might guess, I'm easily swayed by a more aggressive front fascia and big wheels

Hoping the M235i allows for more aggressive offsets. Offsets on the 135i blow.

hmm is that the oyster/dark interior? If you notice the seats are light colored, but if you look at the interior there is a lot of black (pic 9)

haha! i can definitely see that being a polarizing feature. Honestly i think the LCI E82 made the headlights look smaller with the 'brow' above it. I actually prefer the pre-LCI headlights that are larger...but it's a matter of taste!

Good eye. It appears you're right. It make sense too since this is visibly the modern line which allows for this interior.

I also just noticed that the AWESOME wheels in this spy pic is the last wheel option in the options list:

So we could expect the tail lights to resemble this shape? I just traced the outline over the camo
