As posted in the other thread, some 17's should clear, but you may want to stick with something that has been shown to work. I'm not sure if their fitment guide includes clearance for the brakes?

It may not be an issue, but you wouldn't want to find out the hard way.

As the current owner of a 2008 135 which came with runflats, I am a bit surprised to learn that the M235 can be ordered with non-runflats. In my 135, there is really no place to store a spare tire as the space used to store it on earlier BMW's is occupied by the battery. So does the M235 come with a spare tire and if so, is it stored under the trunk floor? Is it the same tire and come on the same wheel as the other tires on the car?

2 Series cars ordered with non-runflat tires (standard on M235i and included with tracking/handling pkg on 228i) come with a kit which includes a air compressor and a can of tire goo. These sit inside battery compartment in the trunk. Its a pretty ghetto solution, but the performance difference between run-flats and Mich Pilot Super Sports is very material.
