Stacking Program Incentives/Allowances

Does anyone know if the $1,000 incentives from the "BMW Drive for Team USA" and "BMW Ultimate Driving Experience" programs can be stacked? One dealer told me that the $1,000 "BMW Ride & Drive" allowance can be stacked with the $1,000 of the BMW UDE. But another dealer told me it's not the same case for the Drive for Team USA deal.

I already have the Drive for Team USA allowance, but I'll be in DC for work next week, where I can make time to do the BMW UDE by delaying a client meeting. (They'd understand, right?)

Just wanted to know if anyone knows for sure. I'll be buying my 2015 M235i by the end of June either way! Thanks for the insight.

Just make sure you get the absolute best discount possible and THEN bring up your $1,000 discounts. The $1,000 are manufacturer discounts and the dealer doesn't lose that money.

^Understood & agree 100%. I have the terms all but cemented with my dealer. I just want to know if I flake my client to go to the UDE. I have no interest in the 2-hour autocross, but I'd go just to sign-in in person to get the $1,000 allowance. I wouldn't go if that $1,000 allowance can't even be stacked on the Drive for Team USA discount I already have in my back pocket.

Does the UDE have a $1000 incentive? I assume they do but I cant find it stated anywhere. UDE will be here in July or something like that.

Good question.
My recollection about how it worked from when I used my $1000 3yrs ago is that it is only 1 "drive" event allowance. You would be going to 2 drive events, but I believe you don't get another "drive" event allowance after you've already received 1.

If you can get 2, great!
Let us know if you do to use 2 stacked codes.

I don't think these can be stacked. I would reach out to a client advisor that is reputable. As far as I know, they're both considered drive events and can't be combined. There are rules in the fine print, though not always black and white.

Maybe hit up Jimmy at Steve Thomas BMW? He's in the finance department at that dealership and always gives a straight answer. He's been very helpful to many users in this forum. Username is GOLFFRR.

Is it a good idea to have a signed deal for the car, like a sign lease deposit contract, and then bring up the $1000 UDE credit?

You should bring it up after you get the best possible deal on the car. I already had brought it up prior to putting a deposit down... I would assume you'd need to do this as my CA wrote down the negotiated terms on that deposit slip.

I think a lot of people think too much of it... if you know all the terms of the deal well enough, it doesn't matter when you bring it up. I would lay everything out on the table from the beginning - here is the car I want, here is how much it costs, here is how much I'm willing to pay for it - this includes these fees, these terms, and these credits applied. You want the deal, this is it, otherwise I'll walk and the next dealer will get the sale.

Fine print:
"The Ultimate Driving Allowance cannot be used in conjunction with the USAA Military Program or any other event-based incentive/offer available at the time of delivery."
