What I hate is that it makes me want to drive it all the time. Always looking for an excuse to go somewhere especially at WOT. Love it, I'm addicted!

Hopefully the M240 will be like my 135 and have no issues.
The fuel system is the limiting factor in getting more power out of the car when tuning.

I had an 08 335xi as well, and yes the HPFP, injectors, coils, LPFP were also horrible in that car.

I hate that my car is 1,200 miles away and I'm stuck driving a Hyundai Elantra rental car.

I hate that there is not fwd/rev skip for music on the steering wheel and you have to dig down into the iDrive menus to get to that feature!

Program one of the 10 buttons above the dvd slot to take you there.

Navigate anywhere in iDrive. Pick a button and hold it down. Done.
As a bonus if you gently touch a button without pushing the screen will tell you what it's programmed to do.

Fitment is in reference to how they fit on the car - meaning are they flush with the fenders, or do they poke or sit too far inside the wheel well? Do they rub? Do they fill in the fender gap?

This is not an actual problem, but just the perception of some. The car was designed for functional performance over looking "SoCal cool".

If you like the wheels more flush with the fenders, an easy fix is a quality spacer and correspondingly longer wheel bolts. Getting them closer to flush makes the car look more solid and substantial. IMO. I like the spacers that Turner Motorsports sells.

OK I have spare wheels from my z4 which I am selling shortly, they have the same diameter and pcd with an offset of et35, I am hoping to use these on my future 2 series.

Silver mirror caps. I've upgraded my m235 with most of the m parts, but would venture to say the simple change of the silver mirror caps to black was by far the cheapest and best mod I could've done. Night and day.

After driving it for two weeks now, I noticed the left driver side B pillar is quite prominent in blocking my blind spot. Anyone noticed that?

Not sure what model/options you have, but my 16 m235 w/nav has this. The right scroll wheel on the steering wheel does fwd/rev skip by scrolling a click up/down then pushing the scroll wheel in. When doing this it shows what track is forward or back in the instrument cluster.

Coming from an X3 I miss the lack of HUD & blind spot alert. Also think the doors should have a grab spot opening further down the door for more control when opening.

Also wish BMW had volume controls on the steering wheel and a much larger volume control knob on the dash. The heated steering wheel button should be in a place located somewhere easier to see if it's on or off while driving but these are not just 2 series complaints.

Why did you buy a 2 series. Doesn't look like you did a very long test drive over a weekend.

Their is volume controls on both my 2 series steering wheels. The door handle could not be better located as it is.

This is a thread about things you hate on your 2 series so I added a few things that I felt could be improved. I bought a 2 because I wanted one and despite those couple of things I knew I could live without I really enjoy it.

I'm also not the first to mention the door issue so some other owners also feel the same way.

I was mistaken on it having no volume buttons on the steering wheel, I stand corrected.
