M235i with quad diffuser - will an M2 MPE fit ??
I'm wander if tailpipe spacing is same/similar for M235i and M2.
is anyone out there fortunate enough to be able to measure the cutout spacings in the rear diffuser of M235i and M2 ??? If so, looking at the photos, can't help thinking an M2 MPE would fit on an Mx35i with a quad diffuser installed ie like Reiger see for yourselves.. above photos from here:- http://ind-distribution.com/ind/cate...-valve-control Comments welcome ?? I may try and get my hands on a stock m2 muffler once people start giving them away (happens with every new car) people remove factory stuff and just want the old one gone. I want to modify it to just have Dual tips I love the m2s tone and with my downpipe I think would be amazing

Has any tuner tried this out yet?
I was thinking the exact same thing - has any tuner or person actually taken on this project with an M235i yet?
Firstly, even with the stock M2 exhaust, will it be a similar sound or something completely different? Secondly (forgetting about the diffuser for a moment) will it actually fit? Last question, will it increase/decrease performance (taking into consideration it's tuned for the M2), theoretically it may not go the way we would assume. |

We did this last year for Big Socal Euro.
You don't need a new exhaust, this was done using the original straight piped single tip. Just have any weld/muffler shop cut the single tips and weld on the duals. The tricky or not so tricky part, depending on how savvy the end user is, would be sourcing a quad diffuser or modding the existing for a quad set up. |

My Question is finding the Width of the muffler with the tips end to end - Then look into a diffuser that can match those measurments....
Guess i'll half to wait for another M2 to come into dealer to measure one up lol. |

Using the kinks in the rear light clusters as a go-by and comparing the M235i and M2 rear views, My findings so far are as follows:-

No clue if that'll work, but if you get tired of waiting and don't feel like a guinea pig, I've been very happy with the Eisenmann quad-tip exhaust (I paired it with a resonated Remus front section, saving a lot of money versus the Eisenmann one). JL Motoring cut the CF diffuser for me and would probably be willing to do the same for you now that they have the dimensions measured, etc.

Bump, any aftermarket quad diffuser for us trying to retrofit? I have an M2 exhaust coming soon and I can post up the tailpipe width dimensions if anyone is interested
Here are some options I found: http://ind-distribution.com/ind/cate...rdiffuser-1292 http://ind-distribution.com/ind/cate...-rear-diffuser These look like the same product but are listed with a different PN. Dunno what the difference is, if any. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/F22-...691549455.html https://www.aliexpress.com/item/M235...371171013.html I reached out to the seller for some more pictures of these. The one you linked I looked at, but other products from that company I saw some odd fitment reviews. What I ended up doing was ordering a Vicrez rear diffuser. I guess their prices went up a bit, I think when I got it, I paid around $380? https://www.vicrez.com/vicrez-bmw-2-...user-vz100426/ I haven't installed it yet, its just been sitting around for the past couple of months, but I plan on having everything installed in the next couple of weeks here. Their diffuser is more or less a copy of the Autoplus one, with some minor differences.

I like the auto plus too, cant seem to find anywhere to buy it though.
so you plan to cut this Vicrez to accept the quad tips? and I don't really want CF as I have not gone the Cf exterior route on mods.
