I think it's appropriate to say that I "like" and "heart" this post. Thanks Scott.

No doubt at all, this has 2-series inspiration. Taillights and c-pillar.
It's posts like this, and ever-encouraging speculation that make this wait for the M2 worthwhile. M235i is a great car, but simply lacks the emotion I felt, and still feel, when looking at an E30 or E82. Hoping BMW brings a little more bulldog and little less pig with the M2. and yes...a little GT6 for me tonight. |

I came back here to take in more of this design. Just can't see enough of it.
Are those side mirrors or cameras? Tiny! |

I just don't get why, when there are clearly people willing to pay a hell of a lot of money for cars, that a 550BHP 1200kg BMW isn't made... If BMW aren't going to make one why not make the virtual car 700BHP and 1000kgs and kick most in game cars arses!? |

I like how the stripes follow the air flow, up the hood, through the side vent (a la Ferrari F12), down the side into the side vent, and then out the rear diffuser. This is a really nice looking race car, and would be great if this was the direction the M2 were to take even with reduced racing bulges/aerodynamics.

This is no doubt a great start for the M2, but as much as I like the aerodynamics of the car it's strictly a racing car...
