Finally some great news. My 2015 M235I is finally on a boat called the Columbia Highway headed for Charleston.

6/25/2014 - production started
7/2/2014 - finished production
7/9/2014 - arrived at port
7/17/2014 - left Bremerhaven on the Columbia Highway (K Line). Due to depart Baltimore 7/29, Brunswick 8/1 and Charleston 8/2/2014.

Next thing to worry about...there is a Moroney/EPA hold on all 2 series model year 2015's in the U.S. BMW will not ship any 2015's from the Vehicle Processing Centers to dealers until that hold is removed.

Disco, what does the website show for your tracking ? Or is the info just frm the 1-800 number or your CA.

Thanks. This was a live update from a person at the 800#. Your CA would also have the same update the 800# people have. The 800# recorded message still says the car is at the port so it is about a day behind. Also, you can only track your VIN if your car is shipped on a WWL vessel from the WWL website. Mine was shipped on a K-Line vessel which does not have VIN tracking. Also note that the WWL website VIN updates appear to be a couple of days behind from what I have heard and observed.

Be aware that you will only be able to track the ship's position while it's in the English Channel. Once it hits the Celti Sea, it's out of range. Unless you use gps I think. My car is somewhere out in the Atlantic heading to Georgia. Im sure it will show up again once it get closer to land.

I had the same issue for my first M235i order.. My CA was only able to add parts after he placed the second order (they incorrectly ordered my first car, and had to order me a second one.) It seems to be a random bug in their system that doesn't allow them to add port installed parts on existing orders. I know that some specific parts aren't available for port-install at least for me at the moment, namely the CF/Alcantara shifter (manual) and the CF spoiler.

My first order was also a week 27 production, for reference. Not sure if that has anything to do with it?

Dealer called - some options are available now but no LSD. Only available PIA's are spitter, exhaust, diffuser, MP Steering wheel.

I'm also having trouble ordering the Port-Installed options I want

This process is really broken. Looks like I could get the CF Hand Brake but not the CF Shift Knob (manual). No CF Spoiler, no MPE but yes for the chrome tips. Yes, for Alum pedals. This is all nonsense. My car is due at the Port Hueneme VPC on 7/30.
