Mods for M235i

Hey Guys,

Where is the best place to buy mods for the 2 series? I know alot of good sites, but I cant seem to find a good site that has variety when it comes to 2series mods.

Thanks

Cosmetic? Performance? You need to be more specific.

+1 they have been super helpful and use all OEM products. Andrew over there is great to work with.

If you want anything custom check out Luftkraft Fab in Colorado, they can do one-off pretty much anything.

Not really when you consider that the OEM BMW parts aren't cheap to begin with and they are then painted w/ perfect color match. Cheaper options that I've seen don't use BMW parts and can have fit issues.

Before I found IND I contacted someone else and they told me that much for just the parts, painted and everything north of $200 by the time they purchased the correct mineral grey from BMW. I believe IND gets a significant volume discount on the parts then has the proper BMW paint booth etc. setup.

For the reflectors, unlike something like a lip spoiler in a contrasting color, you really need it to fit properly and color match. My car will be here next week I will be sure to post photos of both the reflectors and mirror covers I got from them.

Full disclosure: I have no affiliation with IND and only started working with them a month ago but from all the research I've done they are price competitive on like-for-like and put out a quality product. Everything was shipped straight to dealer for install and they were impressed, I was even asked when BMW started shipping color-matched mirrors because they typically come unpainted.

Just get the reflectors painted yourself. Prob cost ya $50 at a shop. Primer then color and you're done. I did it on my old Z4si and came out great.

Doubt it. I am gonna sell my mirrors to a 228 wanna be 235 owner hopefully At least the reflector is a million times easier to fix now that it's not in the headlamp though.

I do understand the sticker shock. I received a price quote on the M Performance front splitter from IND and and I was WTF! Who knew a painted piece of poly-plastic could cost more than the entire front bumper cover!

Plasti-Dip is now my friend and have clued my neighbor in on it yesterday as he just finished purchasing all new lower panels for his 2014 Mustang GT. Sad that he got a diffuser, splitter, rocker panels all black polyurethane for under $900 when it cost us more than half that for one piece. Once he saw the magic of Plasti-Dip and how he could do it himself he ran out got some. Going out later today to de-chrome the exterior badges on the car and will post some pics of the results. Stuff is very easy for non-painters like myself to use.
