Nope because they are 2015s and they just came off the production line. Also the they already reviwed the car not to long ago. They will do it again soon.

I searched high and low but have not found a road or track test for this car.

Ideally, I'd like to see a comparison with the CLA45 AMG.

I would like to see a comparison between an xDrive and standard version as well.

2 weeks ago I tested one xdrive model here in Finland. But it might be only one, it´s importers car they normally use for media purposes.
Wery nice car, xdrive worked fine. I had four hours with it, it really was quality time

I can post some quick impressions after driving my car for two weeks:

Viscerally, the thing is incredibly fun and a rocket compared to the E92 328i xdrive I was previously driving. Electric steering feels different than the hydraulic rack and, for about a week, I missed the E92 steering. Now, I'm quite content with the steering feel and have noticed that at high speeds in sport, I have quite a bit of resistance and heaviness.

I don't have experience with a RWD model, but I can say that the xdrive is less intrusive on the F22 than it was on the E92.

A note on speed. This is a very very fast car. Crazy fast. I used to floor the E92 in my dense stop-and-go big-city commute to scoot around stopped trucks and the like. I don't do that anymore because the car launches with so much torque at low speeds it's insane. And, if I do a bit of WOT on an onramp, I am way WAY WAY over the speed limit by the time I'm merging.

The engine note is also fantastic. It isn't quite as throaty as the PE I had, but the burbles on the downshifts are much more audible. Also, the car only has 350ish miles on it, so I assume things will get a bit louder once the car breaks in.

The transmission never leaves me outside the powerband in sport. Most of the time in sport, I'm looking at the tach and I'm firmly in the 2500rpm range unless I'm engaging WOT.

Fuel economy is fairly dismal on the first-two fillups, but that is to be expected with an average trip speed of around 20mph. My E92 was eeking out 18 mpg ave, and on the same trips the F22 is at 15mpg but steadily climbing. I suspect I'll be in the 20ish range by 1000 miles and possibly 22 by 5000 if this car behaves like the E92. I would say I'm in comfort 50% and Sport 50%

I agree the car feels like a rocket with all its torque! Love the 8 speed auto better than the DCT in my Evo and the DCT F80 M3 I test drove. Due to the fact that it doesn't have that initial hesitation off the line like most DCT equipped cars do. This is coming with a close to 400whp Evo X MR owner and I used to have a 2009 135 6 speed with FBO+E85 which would spin with all that power. I had to resort to streetable drag radial tires to transfer power to the pavement, and not smoke lol. Which brings me to my next topic.

I had my deposit down on an F80 M3 6 speed for May ED... After reading reviews of owners that can't even get traction from 1st-4th STOCK I was let down. It reminds me of all those crazy horsepower(and my 135) muscle cars(707hp Hellcat) that are so powerful that they become dangerous and useless on the street unless your babying the throttle.

I want a car that can put power down onto the street, not leave a trail of rubber every time you feel like having some fun. I want a fun DD and not a "numbers" car. I could care less what a car can do on a track if the daily driving experience blows. My Evo is a nightmare on the street....but a blast on the strip/track.

Changed my order to a "superman" 235 XDrive with sunroof delete. Can't wait!

You'll love it! I recently took possession of a 2015 White M235xi. The engine is incredibly responsive, handles on rails and the cabin IMO is first class for a sub $50K vehicle. Harmon Kardon stereo with bass speakers under the front seats coupled with web radio is fantastic! iDrive is now intuitive and fun.

This is my DD and I couldn't be happier.

I only have 400 kms on my M235xi. It handles beautifully. Corners really well on wet roads. Inspires confidence. X drive is not intrusive at all

Ditto. I've posted some more info in the "M2 vs M235 xDrive" thread in the forum if anyone's interested. BMW has dropped the ball on the xDrive version of this car as far as promoting it and why it's not been compared (tested) against the other AWD cars out there (S3, new Golf R, CLA45) or back to back against its RWD brother is beyond me.

Oh well!!

I agree! Where are the tests and reviews?!

I'm still torn between a stripper 6 speed F80 M3 or the M performance parts loaded M235i XDrive. My ED order is about to be placed in the next 4-6 weeks and I want to be excited about the 235i, but dont seem to be.

I want the Xdrive for the fun street launching and DRY grip in lower gears, and I want the M3 for the looks and 6 speed fun!

Bring on the Xdrive reviews!!!!

Go Xdrive. You can always mod it for more power if you want to.

I drove one. And bought one within a week! I was searching for a replacement for my Audi S4. I've had Quattro for many years. My choices were the Audi S5 (just too pricey) or the new Golf GTI (impressive but just a bit down market from what I am used to) And then one day, on a whim I drove the Xdrive and fell in love with it. Fantastic, and grippy, ride.

Don't feel bad! X Drive is outstanding if you need an all wheel drive system. However, a rear wheel drive with winter tires is highly capable in winter, as decades of experience has shown, and all other things being equal, rear wheel drive still feels better due to lower weight, improving steering feedback, and returns better fuel economy and reduced costs of ownership/purchase/maintenance/repair, etc. If these cars had such wheel-spinning off the line torque and doing that often was important to you, splitting the torque among four tires could be helpful in non-winter conditions, as some very high performance all wheel vehicles offer.

I offered the use of my M235i vs any local M235xi to the guys at The Fast Lane Car (YouTube). Too bad I don't live closer to them in CO :P
