iDrive Oil screen

Hello Guys,

I tried the search function but it seems like i dont find anything or im searching the wrong Key words.

I just did an oil change on my M235i with 28k miles since i recently bought it and the oil indicator on the iDrive said it was low i decided to change it for the piece of my mind.
Now heres the problem, before the Oil change when my engine was on temperature the measurement was done without any problems(ran to 100%), it showed me the level and everything was fine.
Now i did my oil change and after i get the engine to temperature and i try to run the oil measurement on iDrive it only goes to 17% and then aborts it doesnt throw any faults or anything, the screen doesnt show me a level it, only indicates the engine in green and still says oil level ok, like before.

Am i just paranoid or is something wrong?
Im planning to take the car to some autox and a track day and i want to make sure i have no issues with my oil level

I appreciate your guy's help.

sounds like your sensor is broken. I wouldn't autocross until all is good.

I changed the sensor today, it wasn't the issue.
Any other ideas?

You went through both “Engine Oil Level”
and also “Measure Engine Oil Level”

Just want to make sure you’ve attempted both of the options in your iDrive ?
