Did any Canadian buyers get residuals and rates for the 2017 2 series? I've been told there is no information from BMW Canada on that.

What happened with your car? Did the order go through? As for CarPlay, I too was excited about this option until I tried it myself in a Denali. I'm an iPhone user and I wasn't floored by it. For $800 I'd pick metallic paint over CarPlay. Here's the irony. Some told me they want to use CP for Navigation. Well you must get the navi package to use CP

Yes! My order was put through and about a week ago (June 7) I received a vin from my dealer and today I checked and bmwvin.com has updated with a Production date of June 15 2016. I'm getting more and more excited now! CarPlay I can live without!

So you are getting a m235i not a 240i

Yup. I requested for the M235i mainly cause I wanted the N55 engine. I'm sure the B58 is reliable too but I am just more interested in the N55. Wasn't too impressed with the price bumps on packages and the base price increase either. Plus, I can get the car built sooner so I can enjoy it sooner!

Right off the Canadian BMW website, the Lease rate & Purchase rates.
Lease are at 4.9% for 24-48 months
Finance are at 3.9% for 24-60 months

Just ordered mine (M240i, base, manual, estoril blue) - likely Sept before it arrives.
Residuals noted were 56%/48% for 3yr/4yr lease.

Thanks for the info. I thought the initial residuals on a 3 yr (54%) were too low. 56% makes more sense although it may have to do with the fact it's a 240 rather than a 230. While I would have like to go with the new iDrive, and newer engine, I was able to snag an EB 228i, RWD, auto, probably one of the few available 2016 228's in Canada. I believe someone had bought it (it disappeared from the dealer's web site) but then changed their mind because a few weeks later, because it reappeared on the site again. I was in my current lease with Maranello and those guys really helped me out with a substantial discount on the car to help wash out the remaining lease payments. In general, I'd say never early lease return even if you're over mileage, that is unless there is an incentive to help cover the payments.

Anyway, looks like I'm joining club 2 at the end of the month.
