Crazy car after wash

Hello guys,

I need your help, today after a quick wash of my car, lot of error messages appears on the instrumentation.

it seems to be a moisture problem but where and why??

the car is now 2 year old,16000 km on the clock , and it has just been revised a week ago.

Thank you for your help

Must be some water got into your ECU or it may be something in the connection to the instrument cluster. Take it to a dealership ASAP and drive very carefully.

Did you spray off the engine bay with water or was it strictly an exterior wash of the car?

If you are capable of doing it - I would Disconnect the Negative terminal off of the battery and leave it off for 1.5 hours if u are able to - Even leave it off over night.
Re-connect and see if your faults and messages go away.
You may get a steering fault - just re calibrate it by turning the wheel all the way right - then all the way to left - then back to center.
If this does not fix your issue - then I would visit ur closest dealer and explain to them the situation.

Call me crazy, but that looks like a 2 series (maybe 1) gauge cluster.

Hard to tell? Pretty sure a 330d doesn't have a 7000pm redline...

Yeah I caught that too, but also noticed the distinct ommission of a oil temperature gauge.

OP - no idea. But it was a fun video to watch. Let us know how it turns out.
