My performance part order got cancelled and credit issued to my credit card.
I still have two other orders with pending charges but they are not the really good stuffs so they may be going through all the orders and honoring only those that are worthwhile for them.

He did sound tired....lol. I don't think they anticipated this large of a volume (obviously, they ended the sale 2 days early!!!).

So I guess I was wrong... my order just got cancelled. I'm pretty furious, I would expect this from a used car salesman not BMW. They cancelled my diffuser, but not the exhaust tip extension which really has me pissed. Obviously there is no need for that without an M diffuser. They need to make this right, even if they have to eat some of the cost. They easily could have shut down the sale, or offered it in a different way. We know SUN MOTORS can sell them at nearly the same price and still profit, so there is no reason not to honor the orders. This is inexcusable and an embarassment to the dealership and the brand.

Why not just call back in a couple days and speak to the sales manager about maybe getting the orders fulfilled at a discounted price after explaining your situation? Perhaps not 50% off, but see what they can do for you.

The free 2-day shipping was a BMW promotion, not a Leith BMW promotion. So maybe they will honor that as well, but being mad won't help. BMW service departments generally have a captive set of clients because of BMW's free maintenance. These service centers are not always superb, yet people will still come and they will still get paid. A less than stellar reputation on the BBB will really not damage their bottom line and the BBB may lump these complaints into one.

If for some reason you really want to file a complaint, giving them a bad review on yelp/Google reviews would do far more damage then a BBB complaint

Lets back off of that, shall we? They had a sale, but they didn't anticipate the demand, and got overwhelmed. Let's give them a chance to sort this out before people go and burn down their online reputation.

I agree. We really should give them a chance to sort this out. It was a screw up on their part and so far at least, it sounds like they're trying to make good on it.

I"m sorry if I offended you, but I was the guy giving them the benefit of the doubt that they would do the right thing and I didn't realize I owed the dealer such respect. If you read my post my real issue is that they did ship me something that I don't need if they can't fill the rest of my order. Thats an inconvenience for me and they did not mind accepting my money for that. I tried to contact them and sent emails trying to cancel the order with no response. They made a mistake that they clearly have the ability to fix. I don't even have my car right now so timing really doesn't matter to me. Like I said I just hope they do the right thing otherwise what can you do. It wasn't even that much cheaper than SUN BMW, we are talking about $75, but its just a bad look for BMW. Anyway, Happy Holidays Everybody!
