My opinion, for under $500 (ea):
- Black Grilles ($120)
- Radar, mounted ($300-400)
- Aluminum pedals ($120)
- Window tint ($450 for ceramics)
- MP mirror caps ($455)
- Wrap for interior shiny bits (@ $100?)
- Full detail and UK Quartz or Opticoat protection (@ $450)
- HPDE training (@ $250)
- Buy detailing gear (DA polisher and products) and learn to DIY ($300)
- Upgrade stock speakers to Focal (@ $450)

I'm sure there are others :P

No worry here for the slightly taller gas pedal (brake and clutch are same as stock).
I actually think it helps a little.
I've doing a lot of rev matching toe and heel downshifting (fun!) with them.

I got it from Leith dealer sale.
Althouth finish does not match it was not as bad as I was expecting.
I will post pictures of it after I get my car cleaned.

It should fit.
It is same M sport shift knob that came with my 228i M-sport.
The M performance shift knob upgrade fits both 228i and M235i.

One thing I don't like is the armrest, which places the arm at a strange angle relative to the manual shifter. Shifting feels more natural to me when the armrest cover is open. I guess we manual shift guys are second class citizens these days.

Like to hear if there is a genius solution to this.
Maybe there aren't many manual drivers on here but I have the same situation. My right elbow hits the armrest whenever I shift downwards, I've learned to just lift my elbow up a bit. I'm 6' and my seat is at the lowest position.

To the other guy, the natural state of the arm rest is its back position, you have the option of sliding it forwards (presumably for people with shorter arms)

I'm 6'2" and have no issue with the stick and armrest. My elbow doesn't come near the armrest as the angle of my forearm goes up from hand to elbow and is above the armrest surface. Do you guys rest your elbow when shifting???

If I wanted to, i could do all my shifting with my wrists while resting my elbow on the elbow rest.

Does that mean I have long forearms? Perhaps.

Its really not a big deal. Having armrest up is completely unnecessary.

I did the BMS intake and it made a huge difference in sound, maybe it helped a little bit with the turbo spool, but it wasn't a huge difference and it was a while ago so I forget exactly what it felt like completely stock.

My first mod after that will be the stainless pedal covers. They're cheap, racy looking, and looks easy enough to do as DIY.
They are not. They are $150 exclude the labor. I got my stainless pedal covers (not OEM) from China for only $40 and they are good.

I did the BMW pedals myself, took about 15-20 minutes to do it all and clean up after.

Has anyone installed the MP Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler yet? I am curious how difficult it was to remove the OEM spoiler and if the MP one comes with adhesive tape (or whatever) needed to install.

I haven't installed it yet because I'm getting my car this week, but I do have the part and yes, it does have the adhesive strips on the bottom. Looks like "peel and stick" to me, but I'm a little concerned about whether I want to trust just that tape that's on it. I may add some BMW liquid adhesive as well.
