Also... you will need to buy the part from a Euro dealer or someone like ECS who imports them into the USA.

My car is European model, i get it in 2 weeks, so I guess there is euro headlight switch.
But i think only one tail fog light is working in my car, or how? So do I need to code if I want 2 tail for light?
Yes, I think that's correct but Id like you to check and report back once you get your car!

How did you get the light switch out? From what I can see it doesn't look the same as the F30. Just being careful, don't want to break anything. If you have a pic of the back side of the switch to show tabs on how its held in that would be greatly helpful.

thanks

The DOT requires the light for safety. Just remove the damn orange bulb and replace it with a clear bulb.

Then turn that shit back on before you get hit by somebody.

Can the orange turn bulbs be replaced with a regular LED white bulb?

Yes. That's why turning it off is not very smart. Period.

Not off the top of my head, but a quick parts search will give you the answer

I think the Amber bulb looks fine sitting there. It's the fact that it's on and very bright that makes the car look ugly.

Look at how tiny the light is on this Hyundai Santa Fe. If you think this light is visible and makes the car safer, then I think you're a little crazy.

Get White LED so your car can still be seen while at an angle. Very important.

Can be Clear Bulbs, or Chrome Coated Amber/Orange. Either way you are covered

Since the rear fog can be turned on. I was wondering if the steering wheel buttons could be activated like on the M4. They are used for preset driving modes.

You have to pull out the whole light switch.

1. take air con vent out
2. take the panel with the light switch out
3. unclip the light switch
4. pop out the blank and remove the clips...it should be the bottom left blank
5. get it coded

Thanks. The reason i am asking for pics is when i try to get the switch out the whole dash piece comes with it. Is that the way it comes out? or should it only be the switch itself. see circled in the pic.

Ok I see now it is the whole panel. Miss read the steps.
Thanks
I took photos and put together a DIY to completing this mod. (Download the PDF below.)Hope it helps others. Sorry for some blurry pics, it was cold out there .

Edit updated the codes as i realized some don't need to be changed and one was incorrect.
also a pic of the dash light when you turn on the rear fog lights.
