I usually drive in sport mode. I took a car control clinic the other week where I spent the day trying to get sideways with all the nannies turned off (excellent fun, highly recommended!). Now I notice the car hesitates when I pull out of corners, and I realize it's the DSC kicking in and cutting power momentarily. Partly it's because I'm pushing the car harder now (responsibly, of course: private roads, no traffic) partly it's because I now know what the car can be capable of. Try sport+, or even fully off for a bit, see if that makes a difference.

It's a good feeling when you can tell what the car is doing at any given time when you are driving.
