Mine's been in production since last week, and the dealer says it will be finished in Germany on the 6th and he will have the VIN for me. Can't wait!

Another update. Received my production number 2/21.. Dealer says I can pick up the car either today or tmrw the latest. That would put me at about 2 1/2 months. So about 11 weeks in total for me. Also I have the lsd so that could have added another day or two to the wait.

My car is at the port on the east coast. I live in upstate NY. Any thoughts on how long before it hits my Dealership?

WhooHoo! I can finally see my car in the tracking tool on Wallenius Wilhelmsen. Its on the ship Torrens. Arrives in Port Kembla 20/6/15.
I am also tracking the ship on www.marinetraffic.com and its due in South Hampton -UK today.
So now I am wondering how many days Pre-Delivery will take.
My promised delivery date was 16/7 so it looks like it going to be early.
Surley it wont take 27 days from Port Kembla to me.
Has anyone got an idea on time frames for pre-delivery?.......Cheers

Placed M235i coupe order 5/12/15. Began production 5/20/15 which is still where it is. When I ordered dealer thought I'd have it in late June. Any idea how long production takes and how long to ship/transport to South Florida?

I was advised that mine should be arriving in NY or NJ port this week. Keeping my fingers crossed, can't wait to get it!

for me, it was about 6 days till ready for pickup including weekends after it unloaded from ship
