What should I do next for mods?
F23 M235i RWD MT
I have JB4, er sport cat and er charge pipe for now? Running maps smoothly with no tranny issue since i am a MT So between FMIC and Intake, which one should I take first for more dynamic acceleration? And when would be a good time to install LPFP? BTW, any suggestion on suspension for both road and track? My car is my only daily car and I take it to track around 1-2 times a month, happy with MP suspension for now but looking more. |

Brake upgrade.
Mperformance rotors, EBC YELLOW STUFF pads, Bimmerworld SS hoses, and ATE fluid. Right under $1k. Than get a set of track tires since if your on PSS, there already dead if you do 2 track days a month. If you want camber plates, i'm selling my DINAN with v2 top hats for 500.00. Brand new in box, never installed while i waited for the fixed top hats.

camber plates will save ur tires.
There are rotors that fit our cars, not the m performance BBK. They are a stock OEM part, fit perfectly.

Brakes, then FMIC, as suggested. IMO at the power you're at, brakes are your weak point. The factory fluid/pads don't take well to hard stopping. Considering your current HP level, I'd take care of the braking, and effective cooling (like a FMIC) to get the most out of what you already have.

LPFP for use of E85. As far as suspension, what do you want the car to do that it's not doing? |

I'd start with that. You can get a lot out of a good alignment and just any alignment shop but one focused on handling. After that the typical Camber plates, sway bars, shocks, springs coilovers and bushings are next. I recommend one thing at a time so you can see what the vehicle needs to improve on and cater to your driving style. |

I am planning get wider tires next summer for both visual and driving effects. Do you have any recommendation on it? My current plan is get ADVAN GT Front 8J ET46 Rear 9J ET53, they have great ET and I can run 235/265 on them to get extra grip compare to very thin stock sets. I don't know whether there is some good store in Toronto area, so do you have any recommendation or idea on them? I would like to hear more from you. BTW oil temp is really high in N55 on trackdays, and crazy high with JB4 working, need for a larger oil cooler? Last edited by dukeapenguin; 12-07-2016 at 06:21 PM.. |

Maybe someone else can chime in on tires. What are your oil temps? Evolution Racewerks just came out with an oil cooler upgrade, that might be something we can help you get a hold of. |

Tire wise, I got track friends swore by Hankook Ventus R-S3 v2. Best bang for buck road&track tires. You can also try RE71R which I heard were great or R888 for track only (personal opinion, too loud on the highway, sounds like snowntires with studs). I usually get my stuff from Alpha motorsports, always found parts the cheapest there. |

Let's face it, once or twice a month track attacking is A LOT. I'd be looking at bigger oil radiator, rotor, FMIC and suspension before thinking about more power.

Dinan released the camber kit for the 2er's, than about a month later pulled the product off the site because of ball bearings making crazy squeaking sounds.
It took them about 6 months to come out with a fix, with new ball bearings, tested. I, as well as a few other members have been given the replacement top hats. The way you can tell if you have the updated fixed kit is the top hats are now black instead of silver. PM me if you want them.
