I did have a rubbing issue, but I cut out some of the plastic sleeve around The rear shock. Running them on Apex EC-7 18x9.5 ET58. No spacers.
Thanks for the launching tips. LC usually results in too much wheelspin after I modded the car. |

I get the same feeling as you. I came from a FBO 135i running map 2 and now in my m235i it feels significantly slower than my 135i was.
I'm currently looking to get back into a 135i and go 1M conversion |

You have nothing to worry about. I'm guessing you can feel the difference with your mods which should in turn give you smiles.

If not enough power I would advice on a Pure Stage 2 turbo upgrade on your car. It will bump the power up quite a bit!

Yup on your car it makes no sense to get stage1.

Nothing to be disappointed about. Without any baseline dyno, these numbers dont mean much

I find the "feeing" of power can be deceptive, especially with the newer engineering and insulation in the cars. My 235 "feels" faster (more nimble for sure) than my 600hp M5 in DD fashion. I know it is not so I'm not stressed :-)

I had an E60 M5 with bolt-ons and I recall it "feeling" faster than the M235i...especially accelerating at take me to jail speeds. On paper, theoretically, both cars should run similar 1/4 mile times. Mid/low 12s.
But...the M235i does seem to have a lot of low-end torque. |
