New for 2016: PDU N55 PI Kit

UPDATE: 4/5/16

Finally received our batch of aluminum spacers back from CNC so I snapped some new pics.

Just drop me a line: info@performancedesignunlimited.com

Hi Guys,

Here's a quick rundown of some key updates to our PI Kit...

Complete Kit, just as before all hardware and Split Sec controller comes included...

Removed the old access port connection for a HPFP/Fuel rail combo that connects down at the LPFP line w/new PTFE lined fuel hoses rated to 1000psi.

Added aluminum injector spacers.

For the people who have asked, ALL injectors that have been part of our kits since day one have been brand new.
E85 compatible & flow balanced to within 1-2% with an included flow report that is logged and maintained here both hard & electronically.

With that being said I would like to formally introduce to my fellow 2er owners our N55 Port Fuel Injection Kit.

Some Pics...

Design Rendering Pics

Detailed shots of the fuel rail.

Here's some live action of my personal car using the first working prototype of our kit targeting anywhere between 21psi - 23psi

Would this potentially help with carbon buildup as well as for added fueling?

I believe it Will As that is a big common on some of the higher mileage N63 and N54 engines.
This Kit looks very promising.
Any numbers on Pump fuel. 91-94Octane?
Seen or heard of any Issues with people running those High Horsepower Numbers and the bottom end of the engines giving way?

If you run just pump fuel you dont need/want this. Even on stage2 turbo you will hit octane limit before having fuel volume limits.

Pi is needed when you run high mixture of ethanol blend on upgraded turbos.

No actual #s on pump however in instances that I've been returning from roll race events (4+hr drives) I've had to fill up on 91 and the car performed rock solid during WOT runs in Map 2 and lower boost target settings in Map 6 (~20psi).

Not yet on any issues running these higher #s. I've been running a STG 2 turbo for ~10k miles on full tanks of E85 @ 20+psi daily.

Negative , supplements the stock DI system.

We can also pre load the split sec for JB4 integration.

We're currently running it on our own car at the moment and it works great. No need to make a separate PI map anymore.

~2-2.5hrs.

Here's some updated race footage from last Shift Sector event here in CA.

All these runs where 26psi with the exception of the final run against the C63s which was 28psi. I lost two races, to a modified ZR1 and P Turbo. Both dominated the launch , by the time I recovered it was to late.

vs P Turbo

Holy shit that's awesome!

I seem to be maxing out the fuel pump at 17.5psi, even on race gas. Seriously considering meth or pi to up the boost, definitely leaning towards pi now...

Meth will definitely help but PI is the superior option hands down. With the JB4 integration for N55 EWG cars now being offered it's really a no brainer. If your interested in our offering, discounts are always offered to forums members!

A customers preliminary dyno chart. These #s where done on a stock ECU with JB4 only tuning, 28psi, 100% E85.

The car is currently awaiting a Eurocharged ECU flash tune.

I have no doubts that the 600whp barrier on a hybrid turbo for our N55's will be broken.

Here's quick breakdown on the car:

FBO PWG F30 N55
PURE STG 2
PDU PI Kit
JB4
FUEL-IT STG 2 LPFP
