I agree,I really want a dark blue, but if not I am not sure how to go, silver? red? I guess we will see what the color options are.

Yes. LOL. I won't buy a car unless it's the color I want and interior I want. I'll wait, shop, drive, fly, etc to get the color(s) I want. I plan on ordering my M2 just like I want. I absolutely don't want black, white, gray or silver - I want a pop of color. The yellow, orange, or blues are at the top of my list. Would love to see a McLaren volcano orange color on the M2.

Why not order the car in the color you want

You might be the only one

I'm super picky about not only the exterior color, but also the interior that goes along with it. It took me almost 6 months before I found my E92 M3, although the option list also had a lot to do with it.

A lot of it also has to do with the fact that I don't flip cars too often. So when I buy them, I usually keep them for at least 2-3 years if not longer. Having a car that is not one of my favorite colors would make it pretty difficult

Some would consider 2-3 years often. I'm in the 1 to 2 year club. Sometimes sooner :-)

Actually I am a little more selective on the interior. I wouldn't buy one with a white or bright red interior. I have a friend that drives a Prius - when I bust his chops he says, "I can't see the outside when I'm driving - I don't care what it looks like" LOL.

Not really sure what the eye roll is all about... If I ordered one, ya, no kidding, I'd get a color I liked. If I see one that I've been looking for the color isn't my primary concern.

I'm the opposite - hate black interiors. Give me red, off-white, oyster, tan, or even beige any day. No black. Favorite color combo - interlagos blue or Atlantis blue with imola red interior....... Or the old M roadster estoril blue with blue interior............ Really love the new orange that's out - that with a tan or beige interior....

Not for my taste. Disappointed as there is something special about blue Bimmers. I pray that individual is a feasible option.

BMW should Remix Imola red and make it deeper and more metallic. That'll bring in some sales I bet. Shame it was removed

My preference is leather colored leather (tan or sand), but black or dark red will do too. Some of the medium browns are okay, but white reminds me of an old lady's car from the 70's.

Absolutely gotta see it in real life brother. I've seen it from look turquoise, almost Estoril Blue, to almost LSB when it's dark. Really one of my favorite colors, but I'm pretty eclectic when it comes to color choices. Like I said, it's very similar to Sakhir Orange. Look at how many threads were out before M3/4 were delivered about what SO looks like IRL. Very hard to tell.

Oh man, I would love it if they brought Hurricane interior back. You have no idea how bad I want black cloth in my E36. I've got Dove unfortunately

According to Scott, it'll be available on the M2:

I think they'd be crazy not to offer it. I think it'll really suit the bulldog stance that the M2 will have

Absolutely not for me. Every car I have ever had has been black or white. The only alternatives to me are exotic colors, i.e. Imola Red, Laguna Seca Blue, Fire Orange. Color is everything to me and makes the car.

is the lighting high pressure sodium or warm fluorescent? - the color temperature of the lighting in OP's pic does not appear to be an even spectrum near daylight.

Saw it at the show too. Not a fan. But I'm also not an x6m fan either. The whole thing just didn't look great.
