I really don't think the hood line on the 2 is that bad. I believe it has to do with the fact that the headlights don't connect to the grill, making it less congested, so the lines of the headlights dont pull you all the way towards the messy part. I think it actually looks pretty nice.

Good eye. It is really the stock M235i front, stretched to fit. Gives the overall illusion, but in reality the lights will probably be closer to the center and the grills will be much smaller and narrower. This kinda looks like an M6 with more aggressive lines. I think it's going to look really really good once revealed.

My wife has a white 5 series that has that same hood line. I don't notice day to day. Really only see it in pictures on the internet.

I took hyperzulu's idea and used the M235 Racing, since it has the wider flares similar to what the M2 will have and put it over the BMW GT concept
I didn't stretch the width of the M235, it's already pretty wide As you can tell I'm no photoshop expert, just had some time on my hands |
