The pics from the Euro-spec M235 on the previous page.... I would take those babies in a heartbeat...

I also just endured my first Texas summer (mild by local standards, I shudder to think of how much hotter it can get ) and I wonder what cloth seats would be like?

Would they be better than cooking your legs and ass on the leather? Or would they actually produce more swass??

But for looks and general feel, I would love some sort of cloth/non-leather option.

Oh absolutely. My 4Runner has cloth seats and they are so much better during the summer and winter than my M3's in that regards. I've also ridden in M3's in cloth seats and the seats hold you so much better than the leather ones.

And the bonus would be that if they were available, it'd be a free option like on the M3/4. That's a win-win-win-win.

Make it alcantara, I have it also in my Cayman GTS, it has a good hold, feels and looks absolutely fabulous, classy so to speak !

CF roof
Ceramic brakes (I have them on the GTS, I tell you, it`s freaking unbelievable how it feels and performs)
LED headlights front
Overboost function with WOT (like the 1M, which is addictive)

That will do it for me........

I wonder how much it'd cost to import them, and if that's even possible. They are *incredible* looking, and I love the feel of Alcantara.

All I want are manually adjustable cloth seats with lumbar. Is that too much to ask?

Apparently so. Since you bumped this thread up, I see that back in Jan 2015 I was "reasonably sure" that cloth seats would be offered...

Oh well...I still think the cloth/alcantara sets would have been fantastic.

Apparently a better option for hot regions. In the south op Europe e.g. most cars have cloth seats for understandable reasons.

personally i was hoping the base seat would be sensatec which for me , i can barely tell the difference between them and dakota so why spend the money there.

then they could offer say the F80 seats as an option. i think they have to certify seats , because of the airbags in them and the engineering would make the car more expensive so it just wasn't realistic for them to do on a relatively small profit low volume model.

i'm guessing this was just another, lets cut down the options as much as possible, and they felt dakota was the easier out of all the choices (would have been very nice if they offered 3 surface options like say a 5 series)

Yup, had leather before here in Hawaii and cloth is definitely better, unless vented seats are an option.

Also definitely don't want heated seats. Yes you could say, just don't use them but when you park in the sun for awhile, the heating elements get hot and remain that way for awhile. so even if you have the a/c blasting on your front side, your back & thighs feel sweaty. However there are worse things in life, so I'll just have to think

Really... The person that opened up this topic does not have a clue what the M2 is or what the intention of its development was.

Want cloth? Refurb your interior

Breh you wanted to gauge the interest of other proples' opinions on cloth seats on an automotive forum? Dood you don't no poppycock about the MTwo and its development.

I mean, it was only 4 months after this topic was made that the interior of the M2 was confirmed to be what it will be, but yeah lemme just insult you nearly a year later. Hindsight is 20/20.
