Proposed Build. Does Anyone Else Have This Configuration?

Finally narrowed down all details, coming out to $48k. Going to wait for the release of the 230/240 and M2 prior to buying, but this is the configuration I am likely going with. Anyone else have this setup?

Probably be hard to find somebody that has something exactly as you have it. Just thought I'd comment since I had a hard time finding others that got the Terra Dakota interior, and figured my .02 might help. I've got the V.O. 228i and have yet to see one with the Terra interior other than mine. Just wanted to say that the pictures and representations of the interior color do it no justice. It looks so much better in person. You'll be happy with that choice.

My only other suggestion with your build is that for only $700 more you could get the full premium package (and not just the leather seats). It has enough features for that price, that it's relatively little extra to pay for the amount of extras you get.

You sure you want the blue trim? The black would look a lot cleaner with the brown seats lol

That is a tough one for me... Satellite radio... don't really want, comfort access, don't really want because they already come with comfort go, and garage door opener don't really mind, so the only thing that I would really want is the auto dimming mirrors.

Hmmm, I am going to look at that.

What is up with that blue trim? I never seen it in the M235i I test drove. And there appears to be no way to remove it? I better not have that in my car...

I thought it was a little bold at first, too, but in person it is pretty subtle and has kind of a satin, subdued finish. I noticed that too. The only way to change it is to change to a different trim, then change back. A little strange. Here it is with black. I just felt like the blue gives it a little extra pop, and matches with the brake calipers which is cool. But I have to admit the black is classier looking. One problem is that the configurator doesn't quite show how it really looks though.

Here's the gloss black on red leather with AW paint on my 235. I don't think that blue works for me.

I was going to suggest dropping the HK system, far overpriced and underwhelming by almost every review and standard. That would free up about $700 or so for other upgrades, aftermarket speakers, or MP stuff.

Hey Golf,

Mine is close, I have MW w/Terra and Fineline trim. It looks rich and amazing. The online pics don't do it justice. It is striking. I get tons of compliments on the combo. I looked at one in person with Terra, and the brushed aluminum and it didn't look right. I went with the blue trim on my EB GT and it looked great, but wanted to keep this look a little more refined vs a stark contrast. Good luck. The Terra is much better than any other color I have seen so far.

Awesome , love it. That was very similar to my color combo on my e46 and it was amazing. Can you show us some pics?

The blue is hideous with anything but a pure black interior with a blue or black exterior.

Here is a real photo of it. I kind of like it, makes the car a bit more toy-ish feeling. But I get what you are saying. It is a little more subtle in real life. I mean it is just a tiny strip.
I am ordering it that way, and if for any reason I don't like it, will just swap for the M performance carbon fiber.

With that interior, it looks fine. I see the car is black, but it would also be great with the Estoril Blue exterior. But, blue strip with Terra or Oyster? Ugh!

I would also suggest deleting the sunroof... If you don't use that feature a lot. I think it's worth it to get the extra weight off the roof.

That color is phenomenal. Might even need to consider the fineline.

You are right, black looks better. My first thought was to match the brake calipers and give it a little edge, but it might be a little much.

The blue works fine with a black interior - I would have picked it if I'd chosen that, but I got CR instead
