What did you pay for your m235i

Hi y’all. Looking at purchasing a 2015 M235i with premium, cold and tech package. Has roughly 49k on the odometer.

Just curious to what y’all paid for a used one! Tried searching and a bunch of trump and hillary threads came up. Lol.

I paid $49k (Canadian $) for an exec. 1yr lease CPO car, with approx 15k kms on the dial. M Performance Edition model so it came loaded with the M-aero pieces, 19" forged wheels, etc. Car sold one year prior for $59,900+ all the new car bs, so I feel I got a good buy. Put a proud 30k on it since, and has been rock solid, no issues.

Edit: With a 1yr CPO vehicle, you get the balance of factory 4 year/80k plus an additional 2 years for the CPO, so 5 years of warranty, it's a no brainer, imo..

Especially if CPO is important, search the BMW web site for Pre-owned m235i's and you'll get a good idea of asking prices for various examples in your area and around the country. You might also let the group know what the specific vehicle you're looking at is priced at and I am sure many will chime in as to whether it's a good price or there is room for additional negotiation. The more details on your end the better. You'll get more input that way rather than asking what others have paid.

Back when I was looking for mine in the summer, almost all 2014 M235i available were $30-35K with approximately 35-45K miles, regardless of the packages it came with. The few outliers were not worth considering either due to their conditions (previously wrecked but not on record) or mileage (usually too high). It looks like these prices have been holding, at least in and around Texas. Many of the F22s were lease returns, too.

Back in July, we got an executive demo / CPO Elite 2016 M235i with about 1300 miles for $46k, with 0% financing for 5 years. MSRP was a bit over $58k.

Now that's a deal! Best rate I could get was 3.9% through BMW, which was 2-3 points less than any bank I deal with.

A simple cars.com search shows that 2015 M235s with 25K-50K miles are going for $31K-38K depending on options, transmission, mileage, condition, and if it's CPO. The 6MTs seem to fetch an extra $1K to $2K over the automatics. You should be able to negotiate at least $1,500 from the asking price, if not more.

I paid $34500 for a 2016 M235i, 24500miles, mineral grey, coral red interior, 6MT, tech pack, comfort access, heated seats, driver assistance, Harmon Kardon, black kidney grills, CF spoiler.

Was a privately owned car, not a lease and came with near new Pilot Super Sports too.

That's why you need to scrap banks in favor of credit unions. 1.84% for 78 months here. Anything under 2% is free money IMO, so milk the note as long as possible.

Actually, our 0% for 5 years was with BMW Financial. We could have gone to 6 years if we wanted. Just got lucky I guess.

I only paid 3.99% for the first year. I've since paid for the car, in full Local Credit Unions here were in the 3-4% range also, for Auto Loans.

It was never my intention to have car payments for 5+ years, I'm used to leasing 1-2years at a time. Had to do things this way to make room for starting a new family. This way, the car is NOT an issue in terms of monthly expenses, all mods in before hand, too
