Until you have to use it (P320 owner here).

Also, in Texas, no CCL is required to carry in your car -- and I'm pretty sure that's the case in most states. Not all, but most.

Try that at 6:00 pm (me, last night) or on a weekend. The service department closed at 5, the loaners are gone, and the only folks around are the sales team.

I have my own tire mounter and balancer, 3 sets of rims, and come to think of it other than my truck, none of the cars have spares.

Had mine occurred after hrs, I'd have driven my 2er home and driven to the dealer the next day.

I'm with you on getting the spare.

I have a temp spare in a bag for around town.

I bought a re manufactured rim from www.hubcaphaven.com and a spare MPSS to use on long road trips (imagine being in the middle of no where, late at night, hundreds of miles from a BMW dealer in bad weather...)

I also bought the BMW flat fix kit with the green goo for very long road trips in case there's another leak.

Waiting over an hour in bumfck for their road service or in a sketchky area doesn't sound like fun.

My post was mostly sarcasm, as a concealed weapon is no excuse to put yourself in dangerous situations. But it was also partially not sarcasm, because flat tire or not, having a concealed weapon in your vehicle significantly increases your ability to defend yourself should the need arise.

And no amount of being careful and avoiding dangerous situations will ever 100% guarantee safety - car breaks down at 2AM in a strange place, you're gonna want that pistol as a safeguard.

I agree though - obviously you pray every day that your CCW weapon never sees the light outside of your holster, because that means you are in a real bad situation.
