Yes!! This happens to me sometimes. I'd park the car, observe my orientation by observing my surroundings or an object/wall/car in front and it would look straight. I hop out of the car, and the car is crooked.
Definitely something with the car.

I believe this is dead on correct and is a result of, "Adaptive Steering"..

After a freeway jaunt every morning where the steering is slow and tight, the "light" wheel into a parking lot at low speed makes it a bit strange.. But you get over it in time.. Especially when your co workers give you crap about your parking and leave chalk lines on the ground..

I use mirrors to get into the center of the spot and the camera to adjust as I pull in to the spot and line it up straight with park stop or with whatever is behind the car.
