Where do you guys get this BS from? A3s and S3s and maybe the TT use haldex everything else including s4/s5s and models above that use torsen and have a 60% rear-biased torque split with torque vectoring. The new system in the upcoming RS3 can send 100% of the power to the rear and oversteer with ease according to TopGear. The R8 is another awd Audi that can powerslide just like a rwd car (I know from first-hand experience)

It's fine to dislike another brand but at least do so for the right reasons...which claiming Audi's awd is "junk" is just flat out an idiotic reason IMO
Ha.. I'm sorry I insulted your Audi. Unless you get the sport differential the car drives fwd biased. The audi platform the S4/S5 sits on is fwd based.

I was excited for a second before I noticed it was just the M235 racing parts and not the real deal.

I posted those the other day and It was deleted. Apparently cause it shows us nothing new, who cares it shows that they are out testing something and it's pics that we haven't seen before so therefore it's new sightings.

Mental.

Yea, we don't learn much from it, apart from the fact that maybe Valencia Orange will be available? Sure doesn't look like Melbourne Red to me

Hard to tell. Lighting conditions aren't exactly great. I would think SO would look darker than that, but I'm not sure. It would make sense for them to offer SO on the M2 over VO considering you can't even get VO with Msport, but who knows. I'm set in LBB or AY anyway

For some reason I still feel like the front end is too angular. The middle section where the plate would go looks funky. It might be close to the real car but I don't think it'ls going to look like that. It's going to be more fluid, like everything flows together, not a little awkward and angular like it is now.

This is already known. These shots are new, but they are of a very old prototype.

The prototype spotted going around the 'ring has panels that are not tacked on.

I see I see. I have stated that in another thread but thought that these were new renderings. I thought Jason and Mark got new inputs from Scott26.

See this rendering confuses me -'for instance, there's no vent behind the front wheel. Was that deleted on purpose ?

Bottom line is: the worst thing a business can do is to not be able to take my money. If I want an xDrive, which I do, BMW's job is to take my money!
Well said. But even more annoying is the inevitable mention of "snow" or "snow tires" when the RWD/AWD debates start heating up. WTF is this narrow mindedness about? Pretty sure that "snow" is about the last thing on the minds of WRX STi and Evo owners when they buy their cars or discuss performance in their forums. So why does it always come up here???

So like you said.....let the two factions coexist peacefully, to each their own. On that note, hope these revived rumours about the potential for an M2 xDrive are founded somehow. The Garching crew did pretty good massaging xDrive for the big X twins so I can only imagine what they could do with xDrive in one of their M cars!
