Is it still scheduled to get here today? Does it show how many miles off of NY it is?

Ship still says arriving 05/01/2015, but tracking by VIN now says 06-01-2015. So I guess they plan on unloading the cars either overnight or tomorrow.

Its like a quarter of an inch of snow. That would be ridiculous if it slowed it down

I agree, today's dusting of snow is a non issue. Yesterday's winds and high seas were factors in the later than expected arrival to the port.

My car is already here at the dealership. Im looking at taking delivery friday probably since ill be off. So everyone on the FAUST your car is probably at the dealer if youre near the port or on the way

That was quick! Did you have anything installed on your car at the port? They need to install the MPE on mine. Guess I'll give my CA at the dealership a call.

Well that was fast. That's one day from unloading off the ship to the dealer. Still no word on mine.

i had nothing installed at the port. That might have made the process quicker. Im also 20 minutes away from the port

Just received a return email from my CA. He has less information than I do and can only confirm that the ship was to arrive on the 6th. My dealership is on Long Island and only about 40 miles from the port. Patience is a difficult thing...

We'll all have our cars soon enough. Mine has already been through the VDC, just waiting to get on a truck.

I called BMW for a status update. The automated system informed me that my car was at the port in Germany awaiting shipping. Well that's up to date. A live person informed me that my car went into the VDC @ 12AM on the 6th and should be delivered by the 12th. Even if I had picked up the car today, with the current weather here the car would have been driven straight into my garage and stay there until the temps rise and the winds diminish.

Damn, I think my convertible will be held up for EPA certification. It's in NY but no word on when it gets released to the dealer.
