The 2 Series Convertible (F23) is coming at the beginning of 2015 and we've got photos of a M235i convertible in nearly fully uncovered form. The F23 convertible features a cloth folding top.

The US market will receive 228i, 228xi and M235i convertible models. Production of demo/dealer models will begin this November and customer cars begin production in January 2015 (per the 2015 model year schedule).

Looks INFINITELY better than the 4er convertible, or the previous 1er convertible, for that matter.
I'd have preferred a hardtop, though!

The hardtop is precisely why the 4er is so awkward. There are no good looking four seat hardtop convertibles, it's impossible. It can kind of work on two seaters or ones with a joke of a back seat, but if you want to cover four real seats and not look stupid, you use a soft top. Glad to see BMW stick to the soft top on the 2er.

Odd to see the Mustang in the back ground, that's a rare sight in Bavaria.

I love how they leave just that last little bit "to the imagination" as if once they remove the remaining camo it's going to completely change the look of the car and it will just shock the crap out of us. The equivalent of a butt-floss bikini bottom...not that I'm hating.

don't like it at all actually. when the m235i first came out, it looked beefier and totally different compared to the 1 series, but this is almost like going back.

i know its the same car, but the convertible makes it look flat, small, cheap, slowly showing a little bit of the 1 series.

I think it looks great, I prefer the look of a hardtop BMW and I've owned 5 BMW convertibles. I would have ordered one but didn't want to wait so my M235 will be at the dealer in a few days.
They screwed up the 4 series convertible with no manual available. My son's taking my E93 335 manual. Had a 4 series cont behind me in traffic yesterday and the front end looks like a Guppy, it's got a goofy lower air scoop/intake on each side that really looks weird in person when your in front of it.
