Bespoke prints of our lovely M235i/M240i

Hello everyone!

For quite a long time I've been following @petrolified on Instagram and I'm shocked with quality of his work.
I contacted him about doing bespoke prints of our M235i's/M240i's. He's willing to create print for each of us for 149EUR if there is 10 orders.

Who'd be interested? PM me, please!

Checkout his work - https://www.petrolified.com/pages/gallery

EDIT: 22/06/2018

So I have some news:

- You can choose from multiple sizes:
- 40x50 cm (no fee)
- 50x70 cm (no fee)
- 60x80 cm (+50 EUR fee)

- You can choose color of the car they want (official BMW colors for F22 only)
- You can choose wheels (BMW OEM wheels only e.g.: M436, M624, M405, ...)
- M Performance parts can be added to your print (spoiler, side skirts, side stickers, front lip, mirror covers)

All for 149 EUR (except 60x80 version, that's +50 EUR fee)

(frame is not included)

Bumping this thread. Didn't we need 10 people to make this happen? Where do we stand currently? I'd very much like for this to happen ASAP so I can put my M240i on my garage wall.

I'm afraid that currently there're 3 of us :-(.

What am I missing here? A car seems perfectly suited to a landscape orientation print, yet all the examples are portrait, with tons of wasted space. That's like shooting a phone video vertically. Can this artist really be that stupid? No thank you. 👎👎

He can make it in a landscape or portrait orientation. Landscape looks good if you are trying to maximize the detail of one particular car, but for people who want multiple paintings on the wall to set a theme for an entire room or area, the portrait style saves space on the wall and allows for more paintings to be hung side by side.

My goal is to have one of these made for every 2-door sports car I've owned as sort of a "wall of memories" in my garage. Right now that means 2 paintings, but I'd also like to put a future aspirational car up on the wall as well for motivation to get that 992 GT3 one day.

Thanks for your opinion, Matt. :-) If you'd be interested don't hesitate and shoot me a PM. He can make it however you want - even in ladscape I guess 😊. The point is as CP911 mentioned. And design wise - portrait on white background looks very minimaland suits. The point is not in making it 100% efficent but super nice 😁.

Hey Michal,

I'm wondering if I commit to 3 total paintings (2 of them other bespoke paintings of cars he's already done before), will he give us a green light after getting to 8 instead of 10? He'd still get the same amount of $ to make up for the last 2 paintings and he won't have to do 10 of the same car, which he might appreciate a bit. . I'm good for 3 paintings right off the bat: M240i, 997.1 C2S, and one more I still need to decide on.

I have a similar idea in mind and spent some time browsing his Instagram and website hoping to find previous examples of his work that would complete my "wall of memories." I didn't see any however, so I don't know if my wish list must all be created from scratch?

Any way, I have owned a bunch of BMWs but here is the list of all of the cars I would like portraits of (no particular order):

1. M240i convertible
2. E30 325ic convertible
3. E28 M5
4. E46 M3 convertible
5. E9 3.0CS
6. E46 ZHP convertible

Don't mean to have you do all of my communicating for me, so feel free to PM me with how best to contact him directly. But also happy to run all of this through you if it helps get/keep his attention (I know he is busy) and perhaps a price break as well.

You have quite the list! Nice. Here's to hoping he's done all of the classic BMWs before (and if you would buy all of those at once ), so that you can fill up the last 5 spots to get us to 10 orders.

Thanks. Seeing me quoted, I'm a bit embarrassed. I have been fortunate to own all of those but only one at a time. The most expensive one is my current M240i. And of course I regret selling each one!!

Embarrassed for owning decent cars over the years? C'mon! Life's too short not to, my friend.

We've received green light for this idea! He doesn't have problem with getting order for, let's say 7x F22 + 3 911's or any other type of car he already made :-).

Bump. Has anyone confirmed a detailed order with Martin yet and received a lead time? I just emailed him, but haven't heard back yet and I'm curious if anyone else has already beaten me to the punch.

My garage/man cave is finally done as of today (after nearly 2 years of working towards it), and these pictures will make for the sweetest icing on the cake. . I am still having trouble deciding on my 3rd pick though. Ferrari F40? F50? Old school Viper RT/10 convertible in Emerald Green? Another Porsche? Ugh. First world problems over here.
