Shadowline

Where can I find shadowline touch-up paint? Got a little rock chip that needs some touch-up paint.

the dealer will likely stock some or at least have the paint code available for you.

I started using touch up pens. Several companies make them and they all match your paint code. The pen is easier to use and less likely to glob. I also use Langka to smooth them out and reduce the blob. No matter what you use the modern metallic colors are almost impossible to blend in for transparency because they are so thin.

I heard from my detailer that the tool of choice is a toothpick. No joke...I tried on a previous car and it worked well.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think there is a different paint color / code for "shadowline". I believe the paint color of the car is the same on the entire car with "shadowlines" based on the physical creases and bulges, etc.

Okay, makes more sense. Sorry for my obvious ignorance or misunderstanding. Good luck with your search for the correct paint and touch up attempts.

I have Estoril and the touch up paint from the dealer did not match from a door ding. I have a guy who blends his own paint based on the paint code and air brushed the ding. Perfect match.

I've had success with the 'flat' toothpick, versus the perfectly tipped one.
